Marrakech Honeymoon Photo Session, Morocco
The “Red City” of Marrakesh is a magical place, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina can easily eat up a day. We had the pleasure of capturing a mini honeymoon of Dimitra & Mark, who got married in Thessaloniki in Greece, Dimitra’s hometown.
Dimitra & Mark met while taking Spanish lessons in London, 6 years prior to their honeymoon. As they both share love for travel, together they visited over 30 countries! While visiting Japan in 2016, Mark proposed to Dimitra in the breathtaking Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Kyoto. They choose Marrakech in Morocco as their honeymoon destination for its photogenic streets, incredible mosques and gardens as well as its amazing souq market!

Wedding in Ravello, Italy
Ravello, Italy Wedding Destination
Ravello, a town of music, medieval streets, garden villas and ancient stone pathways, is based on Amalfi Coast in the south Italy. Thousands of years of history, an enchanting mountaintop setting on Italy’s most beautiful coastline and views that have captivated countless souls, inspired artists and filled hearts with passion.
Tracey & Matt’s Love Story
“About two years before our wedding we got engaged in Italy. This was our first time in Italy and we immediately feel in love with the country. How can you go wrong with the amazing food, wine and scenery?
So, when we went to plan our wedding, we wanted to share this experience with our closest friends and family members! After a few months of searching we found Villa Eva in Ravello, Italy on the Amalfi Coast. The pictures looked like a fairytale! Destination weddings aren’t for everyone, but for those who chose to embark on the journey, they get to enjoy something unlike any other experience!
Fast forward to September 2018, over 50 of our closest friends and family arrived in the quaint town of Ravello a few days before the wedding day. One amazing part of a destination wedding is you get to enjoy a new place with the best people in your life! Plus all your friends and family get to meet each other. We were able to enjoy almost 3 days with everyone before the actual big event!”
September 4, 2018 – the big day!
“We woke up to a beautiful sunny day with the ocean glistening and the birds chirping! As we got ready with our friends we were able to reflect on the moment ahead. Surrounded by all the love from our friends and family, we said our vows and declared our commitment for each other. Then the party began! With a local Neapolitan band singing “O sole Mio” we danced into our cocktail hour. The night continued with beautiful music and wonderful food and drinks. It felt like we were being transported to another world! As we rounded out the night with more dancing and cake, we looked around at all our friends and family who traveled so far to be there to celebrate with us and one thought went through our minds:
Wow, we are so lucky to have these people love us this much! It truly was the perfect experience!
Thank you to everyone who helped us get here, thank you for everyone who traveled so far, and thank you to our amazing photographers for capturing the memories so we can enjoy them for a lifetime!“

Villa Belrose Wedding Photography & Video, Saint Tropez, France
Saint Tropez Wedding Destination
Called by many “a dream on water”, Saint Tropez definitely lives up to its name. Surrounded by sapphire sea, Saint Tropez is a mesmerising pearl on Cote d’Azur. This pretty fishing village has been luring artists with its pastel coloured buildings long before it became a mecca for tourists and celebrities.
This gorgeous Saint Tropez wedding was located in a beautiful Villa Belrose with a magnificent view of Cote d’Azur and Saint Tropez. Villa Belrose combines the charm of Provence with the beauty of Mediterranean. With its big terraces, pool and gorgeous classical rooms, Villa Belrose seems like a perfect wedding venue for a France wedding!
Carolin & Finn’s Saint Tropez Wedding Story
Carolin & Finn’s perfect wedding story started with photo session in the late afternoon with a romantic walk through lovely narrow streets of Saint Tropez. We captured the most perfect sunset in the Saint Tropez harbour overlooking the Cote d’Azur and Golf of Saint Tropez. Later on, our newlyweds hosted their get together in Villa Belrose terrace with a gorgeous view of Saint Tropez and beautiful yachts and cruise ships in the Gulf. Their friends and family enjoyed amazing food, DIY ice creams and awesome music long into the night!
The wedding started early, with Carolin and Finn each getting ready in their respective rooms decorated in classical French style which only enhanced the beauty of Carolin’s wedding dress by Pronovias.
Wedding ceremony could not have been more beautiful, with its gorgeous view, wooden chairs, amazing flowers and interesting details! Reception followed the beautiful ceremony decor underneath a white tent but still keeping the view of Gulf Of Saint Tropez visible at all times!
For their wedding photo session, Carolin & Finn decided to stay at Villa Belrose. We captured their beautiful moments in the Villa’s garden filled with gorgeous pink flowers.
One of the most amazing things on the wedding was a big and gorgeous three story wedding cake, Tarte Tropezienne, an authentic Saint Tropez dessert that took our breath away with big sparklers! The wedding guest were partying long into the night with an amazing band The Troubadours!

Soho Farmhouse Wedding Photography & Video, Oxfordshire, England
Rustic wedding in the countryside of Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, England
Isabel & Jorge choose the rustical Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire as their wedding destination. They most definitely made the right choice as Soho Farmhouse seems like a perfect getaway in the countryside England! With no basic rooms, only little houses on the prairie with your own retro bike and amazing outdoor baths.
Leaving your car at the entrance, the only way to get around is by milk float, bicycle, horse or on foot!
The day before the wedding Isabel & Jorge had their get together in the Boathouse, with their friends and family where they enjoyed sushi by the Japanese grill restaurant, Pen Yen. The gorgeous blue Boathouse has an infinity pool on a lake and a gorgeous view of the surrounding greenery.
Both Isabel & Jorge got ready in unique cabins with rustic interiors, decorated in untreated floorboards, wood-burning stoves, turntables with vinyl records. With rocking chairs and closed outdoor baths on the porch, the cabins also have a gorgeous view of the lakes! Isabel’s minimal but fantastic custom made wedding dress by Talbot Runhof and Jorge’s classical suit by Marc Anthony made them both looked phenomenal walking the aisle in the church not too far from the Soho Farmhouse.
The groomsmen arrived on retro bikes, while the rest of the guests took the traditional red double decker bus! After saying theirs “I Do’s” and walking trough rose petals, they were driving in the carriage to the Barwell Barn, where their perfect four-tier “naked” wedding cake and their guests were waiting for them!
Their reception was held in a glamorous tent with an outside campfire to keep the guests warm!
The wedding was so relaxed and we had the opportunity to capture all the authentic emotions and events without any distractions.

Gardasee Villa Arcadio Wedding Photography & Video
Emotional spring wedding at Gardasee Villa Arcadio
Ekatherina & Timm got married in late spring, although it felt more like the middle of summer in Salo, Italy. Villa Arcadio gives us a beautiful view of Lake Garda and the gardens where Ekatherina & Timm had their perfect photo session! With a big terrace overlooking Lake Garda (Gardasee), Villa Arcadio is a great place for an open style wedding in Italy.
From the bride…
“We’ve been to lake Garda a couple of times and loved the idea of a “dolce vita” atmosphere for our get together. Villa Arcadio is a divine spot for an intimate wedding. You have the entire hotel for yourself, the staff is so caring and its lush gardens and lake view made the perfect location for us (also you can party all night long – major factor!).”
Ekatherina & Till’s wedding story…
Ekatherina & Timm initially wanted to elope, but changed their minds and decided to go for a full on wedding celebration, with the most important thing for them having a fun day with their family and closest friends. Their vision was a quite informal summer celebration with great people, lots of yummy drinks and time to relax and dance.
Their ceremony was incredibly special to both of them. The live music and personal speech definitely set the tone but what really made it so heartfelt were the personal vows Ekatherina & Timm read to each other.
They have been together for more than 8 years and during this time they basically grew up together. With accomplishing so many things and standing by each other through really hard times, reading personal vows and remembering some of the things that made them want to spend the rest of their lives together was incredibly meaningful.
Ekatherina & Timm wanted a cake that felt like them, which meant traditional wedding cakes were out! They wanted that clean, chic marble look and Uta, from Alma Pasteles, was the perfect cake designer to make their vision come true.

Most beautiful wedding destinations in Croatia
ONE OF THE TOP WEDDING DESTINATIONS IN THE WORLD
Most Beautiful Wedding Destinations in Croatia
Elegant wedding venues, breathtaking vies, Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean climate…
Croatian Destination Weddings
Destination weddings are more and more popular option for weddings, and it is already well-known that Croatia offers plenty of gorgeous locations on which many of the local and tourist couples decide to exchange their vows and celebrate marriage. Magical Istria and Dalmatia offer some of the most popular and beautiful wedding destinations, not only in Croatia but in the world. Croatia is a treasury filled with fairytale locations, from Adriatic Sea, the hills of Zagorje, the mountains of Gorski Kotar and Lika, to Slavonia plains. Destination weddings emphasize the special place and mood which will make your wedding day more beautiful, so it is normal that couples choose them.
With the occurrence of the destination weddings it is more common that individual photographers are declaring themselves as destination wedding photographers. It can be demanding to be a destination wedding photographer, but the photographers simply enjoy these kind of weddings because if the location is beautiful and special, it gives a memorable aesthetic view of the photography.
Photogenic locations are usually the ones in the nature and outdoor. Even though our Adriatic Sea is gorgeous and irreplaceable, you don’t have to necessarily choose the wedding destination near the sea for the scenes to be perfect. Sometimes an old stone house or vineyard hills can be a very interesting motif for photography. The palette of impressive locations in Croatia is really wide, so we will select our favourite and most photogenic places which should definitely be taken into account when choosing the perfect destination.

Wedding Destinations in Istria
A well-known magical destination attracting tourists from all around the world is a perfect wedding destination. Besides picturesque Rovinj which is by itself a mecca for newlyweds and the photographers, and the gorgeous Villa Polesini in Poreč located right by the sea, we shouldn’t ignore the heartland of Istria that offers fairytale motifs; old stone houses and Istrian kažun (round or cone shaped, stone shelter without windows), vineyards, olive groves, hills and interesting small towns.

Croatian Tuscany
Towns like Motovun and Groznjan are a great choice. Our favourite wedding destination with a theme “Istrian village” is Agrotourism Paladnjaki in the heart of Istria, which, besides great local food, offers idyllic mood of Istrian village with old stone houses, surrounded with green plains and flowers, relaxing pool and romantic lanterns along the whole garden.

Wedding in Meneghetti Winery
Another one of the special locations in the heartland of Istria is the beautiful winery Stancija Meneghetti, a rustic villa located in Bale and surrounded by nature and vineyards that gives all its visitors perfect peace and luxury. Take a look at this amazing al fresco wedding in Meneghetti Winery!

Wedding in Opatija
The Kvarner Gulf is often unfairly neglected location, and it offers one of the most beautiful jewels of the Adriatic Sea, Opatija town. Opatija is a beautiful and elegant tourist location with rich Austro-Hungarian history, located at the foot of the mountain Učka with plenty of old and luxurious villas and hotels, a beautiful park and the sea.It is known that Opatija is filmed and used as a backdrop in movies and was visited by many historically important and famous people.
Opatija is also a perfect backdrop for a wedding! If you want an elegant wedding with a dash of the old glow of Opatija, the best choice is a beautiful hotel Kvarner founded in 1884. with the Crystal Hall, one of the famous ball halls in Croatia and elegant terrace with the view of the sea. For a modern view of Opatija, a perfect choice would be restaurant Bevanda, with its perfectly decorated space and rich gastronomy. Close to the restaurant, a new beach Lido is currently decorated as the most luxurious beach in the Adriatic Sea making it a perfect spot for a wedding!

Wedding destinations in Dalmatia
With crystal blue Adriatic Sea, islands and fascinating historical towns, Dalmatia most likely offers the largest number of wedding destinations. Everyones favourite Dubrovnik has been referred as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Dubrovnik has ancient streets & architecture, but also amazing beaches, and fantastic villas! Perfect for wedding in Dubrovnik.
But Dalmatia is much more than just one city. Gorgeous Island Hvar is proof that you don’t need a big city for your wedding. Surrounded by Adriatic Sea, it’s our most popular Adriatic island. Hvar Island has breathtaking nature, and your wedding will have a relaxing but elegant vibe!
Vis Island is the farthest inhabited island in Croatia and has the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. Split is the city of tradition and modernity, and with gorgeous Villa Dalmacija, it’s no wonder that a lot of our couples choose this city for their perfect destination wedding!

Dubrovnik Wedding Destination
Whether it’s your Dubrovnik wedding in the luxurious wedding venues or if it’s an intimate engagement photo session above Dubrovnik with a breathtaking view of Adriatic Sea. Do you want to hear the sound of waves as you are saying “I do” at the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace? Or is ancient architectural Grand Villa Argentina embraced in greenery more your kind of style? How about a breathtaking view of Island of Lokrum & Dubrovnik from Villa Sheherezade terrace? Take a look at the most amazing wedding venues in Dubrovnik we had the pleasure to capture.

Hvar Wedding Destination
Hvar town offers gorgeous hotel terraces in the very centre of the town, just like the terrace San Marco of the centennial Palace hotel with the view of the main square and the sea. The luxurious Beach Club Hvar would provide not only a beautiful backdrop for the wedding ceremony but a great setting for the wedding reception and party! Take a look at this latest Beach Club Hvar wedding!
Hvar is surrounded by many small islands. Island Palmižana, is home to one of the Croatia’s exclusive seafood restaurants Laganini Lounge Bar. Made from nature but still very elegant, Laganini Lounge Bar is a great place for a relaxed beach wedding!
Another beautiful island, St. Klement has the amazing restaurant Zori. Zori is an elegant venue with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. Surrounded by stone walls, in the shade of beautiful tall palm trees, it makes a great place for an outdoor reception perfect for hot summer nights.

Vis Wedding Destination
Vis has one of the best beaches in Croatia and it’s one of the most remote inhabited island of Croatia. Vis Island will give your wedding guests a different experience. Sunsets and views of the Adriatic Sea are alluring. Vis Island offers unique traditions, history and cultural heritage to the outside world. Filled with small stone houses, stunning beaches, and beautiful wedding venue Fort George, Vis Island seems like a perfect getaway destination wedding!

Pag Island For Your Destination Wedding
Pag is deserted enough to give us some of the most beautiful views and natural panoramas, and at the same time so rich in culture and gastronomy! Pag is an island for hedonists who will gladly escape to this paradise in the Adriatic to exchange vows and enjoy everything this destination has to offer! Surrounded by the steely Adriatic Sea, the island is the most dramatic-looking place in the whole of Croatia. With a beautiful view of Velebit mountain and stormy clouds above it, Pag is a great place to have your wedding!

Wedding Destinations in Continental Croatia
Continental Croatia maybe doesn’t have the incredible view of the Adriatic Sea, but it still has gorgeous mountain tops, forests, parks and elegant wedding venues. It is also home to our capital Zagreb and many beautiful castles, as well as our National Park Plitvice Lakes which is perfect for elopements and photo & video shoots!

Wedding in Trakoscan Castle
Another one of the impressing sights and locations in Croatia is a fairytale castle Trakoscan. Beautiful historical castle, which rises over the landscape, is mirrored in the lake and surrounded by decorated nature. Located only an hour from Zagreb, Trakoscan castle makes a perfect sight for fairytale destination wedding.

Zagreb Wedding Venues
Zagreb is a city of museums, stunning central city parks, elegant and luxurious venues and energetic street life. Unusual and unique architecture will surely capture romantic memories for you. Having your wedding here is great because its so easy! Elegant hotels like Hotel Esplanade and wedding venues are so close to the historical centre of the city where you can have your wedding photo shoot, while getting back to your wedding reception just in time!

National Park Plitvice Lakes
One of the most visited and most beautiful destinations in Croatia. Sydney Wedding Photography & Video, Australia
Glamorous wedding in Sydney, Australia
This wedding of Jacinta & Jacob was a fairytale! Located in Sydney, Australia on the grounds of ICMS (International College of Management, Sydney) it was the first out of two weddings they had. The ICMS has a stunning view of the surrounding landscape and Sydney which, as you can see, provided a great backdrop to their photo session.
The couple got married in Saint Patricks Cathedral which had a tall ceiling and with its light made the photographs even more beautiful. Jacinta arrived at the church in a white convertible Rolls Royce and was walked to the aisle by her father accompanied by the sound of the string quartet!
The newlyweds choose a marquee for their wedding dinner which was decorated with a special chandelier with cascading orchids, with each table in different shades of flowers. After the dinner, the wedding guests went into the historical building for the party and were greeted with espresso martinis with gold leaf specks! The building was decorated with draped linen, candles and cascading flowers and was perfect for the newlyweds first dance.
Everybody enjoyed the champagne tower, the gorgeous and elegant cake and the music! And at the end of the wedding, while Seed Flora team came back to wrap the flowers for the guests to take home, we took Jacinta & Jacob for a short ride in the Rolls Royce and had another mini photo session with them before they took off on their journey!

Dubrovnik Wedding Photography & Video
Intimate glamorous wedding at Villa Sheherezade in Dubrovnik, Croatia
Jacinta and Jacob wanted their wedding day to be special, intimate and shared with their closest friends and family. We definitely think they choose the right spot, because the Villa Sheherezade Oval Terrace and The Palm Gardens was the perfect location to make that happen. Villa Sheherezade has long been one of our favourite locations for a wedding and we still find something new and beautiful to capture every time we are there.
Jacinta made the wedding gown by her own design and she wanted the whole wedding decor to enhance the wedding dress design!
The couple’s day started their preparations in the palatial rooms of the Villa Sheherezade. The couple first saw each other in The Palm Garden of the Villa and as the palms threw a shade on the perfect spot in the garden, the look on each others face was priceless!
Their perfect day kicked off with the photo session they had all along The Old Town of Dubrovnik! Dubrovnik’s Walls and ancient architecture provided an amazing backdrop to the couple’s photos!
Jacinta’s father walked her down the aisle as Jacob waited for her in The Oval Terrace of the Villa Sheherezade where the ceremony was held. The small and intimate ceremony was in all white details, including the carpet, officiants table, the chairs and of course the flowers perfectly made by Floral Design PatRea! As they said theirs “I do’s” and professed the eternal love for each other with a kiss in front of the most magical backdrop, Jacinta & Jacob went on another, this time shorter, photo session in the Villa’s Palm Garden.
The reception was held in the Villa Sheherezade’s terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea and the lush gardens and the view was even better with Jacob’s speech! And since the wedding was very intimate, Jacinta & Jacob decided not to use music in their dinner so they could really enjoy the company of their closest!
The day after, the newlyweds had a photo session in Park Orsula which has an amazing view of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. Their Dubrovnik wedding story ended with a light party in the terrace of the Villa Sheherezade.

Wedding video
Wedding video – yes or no?
Your wedding day is undoubtedly one of the most significant occasions in your life, filled with joy, love, and cherished moments. While photographs allow you to capture beautiful snapshots of the day, opting for a wedding videographer and a professionally produced wedding video offers a priceless opportunity to relive your special day in all its glory. Let’s explore the numerous reasons why hiring a wedding videographer and opting for a wedding video is a decision you won’t regret.
Wedding video looks a lot different today
The wedding video trend has greatly changed in the last decade and instead of several hour footage, a wedding video today looks like a short movie with high quality look, both technically and aesthetically.
Todays technology allows good videographers to be more discreet during the wedding because they don’t need additional lighting (the flash pointed straight in your eye) to be able to film even in the conditions of poor lighting. The cameras aren’t that big, noticeable and heavy, and it is possible that you will notice the photographer more then the videographer!

Preserve the Emotion and Authenticity
A wedding video expertly captures the emotions, expressions, and genuine moments that unfold throughout the day. From the romantic exchange of vows to the heartfelt speeches delivered by loved ones, a video allows you to revisit the raw emotions and relive the magic of the day. These priceless moments can be encapsulated in a way that a photograph alone cannot fully accomplish.
Revisit Moments Missed
On your wedding day, it’s impossible to be present in every conversation, interaction, or special moment. A wedding video provides the opportunity to witness and appreciate moments you may have missed. From the reactions of your guests during the ceremony to the fun-filled moments at the reception, a video ensures you won’t miss a beat and grants you a remarkable opportunity to relish the day to the fullest.
The video as a media, leaves a bigger impact then photography because it attracts our senses with sound and movement.
I will always remember words from a groom: “I will never forget how the flower crown fluttered as she stepped into the church and walked down the aisle.” This is the moment that sticked with him and it was recorded in their wedding video.
Bring Your Memories to Life & Capture the Details
A wedding video adds an extra dynamic to your memory preservation. Through vivid motion, music, and carefully crafted storytelling, a skilled wedding videographer can bring your special day to life. The footage captured enables you to hear the joyous laughter, the tearful reactions, and the sincere vows, enriching your memories and allowing you to experience the day just as it happened.
While photographs excel at capturing individual moments, wedding videos provide a holistic view of your wedding day. A professionally produced wedding video showcases the intricate details you meticulously planned, including the décor, floral arrangements, and venue ambiance. Having a comprehensive recording of these details allows you to appreciate the full picture, reawakening your senses and reviving cherished memories.
Include Distant Loved Ones
Weddings often bring together family and friends from near and far, making it challenging for everyone to attend. Hiring a wedding videographer ensures that loved ones who couldn’t make it to your big day can still participate and feel connected. Sharing the wedding video allows them to experience the day as if they were present, keeping them a part of your cherished memories.
Social Media & Shareable Content
Wedding videos are highly shareable on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. They allow you to easily share the highlights and key moments of your wedding with a wider audience, irrespective of their physical presence at the event. Sharing your wedding video on social media platforms can help you reach a wider audience beyond your immediate friends and family. This is especially beneficial for couples who have guests from different parts of the world who couldn’t attend the wedding in person. It allows them to be a part of the celebration virtually. It also gives you an option to not share your whole wedding video which could contain intimate moments you don’t want everyone to see.
Advice
The best option is definitely to hire a photographer and videographer from the same studio. Photographers and videographers from the same studio work together, know each other and know where to move so they don’t get in each other’s way. They have the same work style and can help each other if necessary. It is often that the photographer or videographers don’t work together and are in each others way (and frame!) because they are strangers. Try to avoid these situations.

Ibiza Wedding Photography & Film
Kimberly and Danny’s love story began on Christmas Day of 2010! Since they have family all around the world, they wanted to find a perfect location in Europe where everyone could travel easily. Ibiza was the first place they visited and they immediately fell in love with the island. They loved Santa Eulalia resort and Ibiza Town, and how the island was perfect for their guests of all ages. The church in which the couple said theirs “I do’s”, Puig de Missa, with its old white washed walls, provided a perfect backdrop for their photos!
Amante restaurant was a great place to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties as well as their wedding reception. The newlyweds also had a stunning photo session on Sol Den Serra beach near the Amante restaurant with surrounding woodland area which gave a great contrast to their wedding photographs!
Kimberly was flawless in her wedding dress “Jodie” by Enzoani, with her makeup done by Jessie May, while Danny wore a midnight blue tuxedo from Burberry. The florals made by Aurea Flores complimented the overall wedding design along with simple yet beautiful cake made by The Cake Lady Ibiza.

White and romantic Umbria wedding in Italy with a bohemian feel
This couple chose villa Tenuta Di Murlo in Umbria as their perfect wedding venue. The luxurious villa is located on Umbria’s hills and has a wonderful view of the Italian greenery.
Isabella & Eric are a very stylish couple, as you can see from their wedding and photo session attire! They wanted all the details to be perfect and in white-boho style, from the white wedding dress, boho veil, the photo-booth tent, decorations and tambourines…
We can definitely say that the wedding planner Das Hochzeitswerk delivered!
Isabella wore a beautiful Anna Campbell wedding dress embroidered with silver, ivory and pearl toned beading in a romantic and floral motif with Valentino rockstud sandals; while Eric wore a stylish white Joop suit.
Their guests not only enjoyed the photo-booth, but also had a chance to take a swim in the pool of the villa. Two little flower girls were the cutest part of the ceremony as they waited for their cue, dressed in glittery dresses and flower tiaras. And while everybody was emotional during a beautiful ceremony which took place in the gardens of the villa, one little boy took a chance to take a nap in the grass on such a beautiful day!
The reception, which had an “Italian summer nights” style, was held in the villa’s backyard, with string lights that gave quite a romantic feel to an already beautiful wedding. The Italian specialties and a beautiful cake rounded up the dinner.
The wedding day ended with a crazy party under the stars!

Venice Wedding Photography & Film
Pre-wedding Venice Photo Session
Before their luxurious Venice wedding day, Katharina & Victor had their pre-wedding photo session at Venice largest square of St. Mark. They rode the gondola through the heart of Venice, the Grand Canal.
Venice Wedding Photography & Film
To say that this Venice wedding was glamorous is an understatement. Das Hochzeitwerk planned this Venice wedding in the exquisitely beautiful former church, Chiesetta della Misericordia. The couple picked a gorgeous church I Gesuiti with staggering white-and-green marble, to tie the knot.
Katharina’s ballgown wedding dress, which was made by her own design, went perfectly with her classic hair and makeup. The all around white details and white roses bouquet set the tone for the rest of the wedding.
After their first kiss as husband and wife, Katharina & Victor headed for their Venice wedding photo session and to the reception at Chiesetta della Misericordia where they enjoyed delicious food and their luxurious cake.

Everything you need to know about an engagement photo session
Regardless of how long you are in the relationship, you certainly can’t flaunt a lot of shared photos taken by a professional photographer. You are engaged and it is fully justified to celebrate your status and want official photographs where it will be just the two of you as a couple, relaxed and in love. Besides that, it is desirable to experience how to stand in front of professional photographic equipment before the wedding.
So, here are some useful reasons why you should have an engagement photo session and everything you need to know about it.

Engagement photo session as a rehearsal
Besides finally having beautiful and professional couple photos, an engagement photo session can have other roles. It can be an excellent rehearsal and a preparation for the most important photos for which you have hired a professional photographer – wedding photographs!
This way you can get to know your photographer better as their way of work, and get used to the constant clicking of a camera which are directed to you. This can sometimes cause discomfort, but with little practice and a nice photographer, the discomfort can become the opposite experience and the cameras can flatter you. Aside from that, your photographer can also be better prepared and recognise in which situations you look your best and give you some tips.

Relaxation before all
You are not getting married every day and it is probably your first time. Everything is new and it can be stressful. Would you be more relaxed if you didn’t take your photo for the first time? Would it be easier on your wedding day to know what to expect from your professional photographer and to feel comfortable in their company and be on your own terms? Think about that.

Use your engagement photos for your wedding
You are looking for the best way to tell the world you are engaged, and invite your guests to your wedding. In that case the engagement photos are a very good option! You can include them in your invitations, complete the look of your wedding website if you have one, or use them as decorations at the wedding.

Freedom of choosing the location
You love photographs by the sea, you met at a romantic island, and on the wedding day you won’t be able to take photos by the sea because it is miles away. Why wouldn’t you have your engagement photo session somewhere you want it? In agreement with the photographer, set the date when you are not limited by the time and when you can go wherever you want, a beautiful and special place where your photographer will take phenomenal photos. Location doesn’t have to be connected to the wedding.

Make ti personal
Choose a location and details which have a special value to you. It can be a place where you got engaged, favourite caffe where you enjoy coffee together or a library because you share love for books. If you love traveling, think about professional photographs while you travel. Engagement photo session can be thematic, and for the location you can choose your home. You can even include your pet. Be yourself and be unique.

The best time for engagement photo session
You are the ones choosing the time for the photo session, but take some things into consideration. For example, contact your photographer as soon as possible and set up a time for the photo session. Keep in mind that wedding photographers can be quite busy in the wedding season.
If you are planning to have your photographs taken outside, think about which season you would like to have on your photos, if you want to be in a summer dress or warm winter coat. If you want your photos to be used for wedding invitations, keep in mind that they have to be ready before you order wedding invitations. The photographer takes a certain time to select and edit the photos. You can match the engagement photo session with a trial make up and hairstyling.

Clothes and appearance
Photographers are not stylists, but they can notice what does and doesn’t look good on photos. Try to avoid colorful clothes and patterns. Different colors and patterns can often ruin balance on photos, unless they are carefully designed and fit into ambiance. The cameras love primary colors but be careful with them. Details in primary colors can draw attention and be visually appealing. Try to match your clothes but don’t overdo it. Wear something you feel comfortable in and beautiful, something appropriate for the ambiance in which you are taking your photo. If you don’t know what to wear, try to get inspired by the photos of other couples that you like.
The only thing that is left is to be spontaneous, cheerful and in love, and the photographer will do the rest. Give yourself some room to breathe and capture the most beautiful photographs before your wedding. And don’t forget your engagement ring!

Caribbean Wedding Photography & Cinematography
Caribbean Islands Wedding Cruise
Someone once challenged Valérie, telling her that Europeans don’t have a tradition of making long weddings. This time it was about Valérie’s plan and organisation, which lasted no less then eight days.
The wedding actually lasted for one day, but all of Valérie & Benny’s guest enjoyed an eight-day cruise in the Caribbean and were involved in daily activities to celebrate their wedding. We were there to capture every fascinating island and wonderful days spent on that cruise. Although our usual practice is to go to the other end of the world to photograph weddings, this was our first cruise wedding!
Valérie and Benny invited us to capture their wedding and travel, and it all began on a warm and sunny day after Christmas, in the colorful San Juan, Puerto Rico, where we were boarding the ship of love together with other guests. In this case, it was the luxurious Azamara Quest cruiser that we sailed on and explored the beauty of the Caribbean islands for the next eight days and ended the voyage in Miami Harbour. Meanwhile, the ship has docked on several Caribbean islands: St. Martin, St. Barth, Antigua and St. Kitts.
Check out the amazing video that will show you the beauty of the Caribbean Islands and great time we had on the cruise!

San Juan, Puerto Rico
A cultural center of Puerto Rico, full of beautiful beaches, San Juan is one of the top destinations in the Caribbean.
The first day and departure from San Juan was reserved for introductions, but also for early sleep and jet lag treatment. Since Valerie is part French, part. German, and Benny is an Indian from United Arab Emirates, their guests arrived from different parts of the world.
Saint Martin
Saint Martin, quieter than its Dutch counterpart Sint Maarten, the French half of the island is a charming mix of white-sand beaches, cluttered town centers and stretches of country mountainside. The island’s French side is known for its nude beaches, clothes, shopping and French and Indian Caribbean cuisine. Saint Martin is occasionally threatened by Atlantic hurricane activity in the late summer and early fall.
After the ship was docked in the first port, Valérie & Banny took their guests for lunch at the hotel La Samanna along one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The pleasant 27 degrees Celsius in the sun at the end of December seemed like a relief to everyone present, as well as to the iguana that lazily crawled in the sun.
Saint Barths Wedding
The next day was the most important day of the cruise. The day of a perfect Caribbean wedding on the island of Saint Barthélemy. The guys were “stressed out” since the morning, spending time enjoying the beach and trying out all the extreme water sports, while the women spent every moment on make up and dresses. Everything was relaxed and that is why the wedding was perfect and dreamlike.
Benny saw Valérie for the first time in her wedding dress on the sandy beach of the beautiful Le Toiny Hotel where their wedding ceremony was held. The whole reception continued on the same beach, between tropical trees where everyone enjoyed the excellent French gastronomy and seafood specialties. St. Barth is a French island so everything has taken a piece of that French chic and charm.
Antigua
An island located in the West Indies, known for exemplary food, family-friendly activities, and legendary cocktails. Surrounded by 108 square miles of beautiful coastline, Antigua offers 365 white sand beaches and a wide array of entertainment.
It was a part of the cruise reserved only for relaxation after the wedding. Everyone went their own way to one of the stunning beaches of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. At the end of the day everyone was showing their lazy pictures taken at the heavenly beaches.
Saint Kitts
The last port of the Caribbean was the island St. Kitts. The bride and groom have taken their friends and family to the unforgettable experience in the rain forest safari. We tried the local fruit and plants, traveled through green fields, while the rest of the day we prepared for another great night.
The evening in St. Kitts was reserved for New Years Party on the cruiser. Fresh specialities and the finest drinks were offered, while everybody came to the main deck where they danced and celebrated until morning.
We spent several more days sailing to our last location, Miami Harbour. We had the opportunity to spend time getting acquainted with the newlyweds and their guests, and interview guests to surprise Valerie & Benny and further enhance our videos throughout the cruise.
Valérie & Benny gave us an unforgettable experience, because such a wedding can only be a dream of every wedding photographer and guest. They married in style and their wedding will remain a long time memory.

How to look great on wedding photos
You are preparing for the “most beautiful and important day of your life”, although the “most important” part creates tremendous pressure, especially for the photos which you want to look perfect. Not only you’re not a professional model but you’re bothered by the thought that on that day you will have to pose in front of cameras and keep those photos as a lifelong memory. A lot of times you will hear the advice: “Relax.”, and even if it is the most smartest and universal advice ever, there are some other advices that will help you have truly perfect photographs.

Place your trust in a professional photographer
First and foremost thing that can help you is to be calm when it comes to wedding photos. Hire a professional and you won’t be sorry. Professional wedding photographer is not only the photographer who has mastered the technical settings of a camera and know how to occasionally make nice photographs, but also someone who will know how to capture every important moment which passes quickly, recognize emotions and know how to photograph you to highlight your inner and outer beauty without Photoshop. No, we are not superheroes, but it really is a part of our work and abilities. A professional will know how to be careful of proper lighting, because not even a supermodel can look beautiful with light falling on the wrong side of the face; they will know from which angle to photograph to hide flaws and highlight beauty. This angle is not universal for all people and that is why a professional is very important. A professional will guide you and recognize how to make you more beautiful.

Meet the person you are posing for
Try to get to know the photographer in advance, talk with them, try to find common subjects. You can also give your ideas and wishes related to your wedding photography. This will help you relax and spontaneously express your emotions in front of a camera.

Focus on your partner
When photographing with your partner, it’s great that he/she is with you. This is your moment and the photographs are captured for you. Everything is easier when your loved one is next to you. Love, hug and look at each other, laugh because it is the two of you and it is immediately easier to relax; and what else is supposed to be captured apart from you being spontaneous, in love and happy.

Believe in yourself
You hired a professional makeup artist, hair stylist, you are wearing your dream dress and you look perfect! Don’t think about which side of your face is better then the other or any flaws on your face or body. Every person has flaws and virtues. Focus on the good things, and a good photographer will know how to spot and highlight them. Confidence is always a characteristic that shines on photographs.
Beware of your posture
Proper posture often draws attention on photographs. Try to make a mental note to straight your back, shoulders and posture at least when you are in front of a camera. This will give you more elegant look and it will be noticeable on photographs.

Be yourself and enjoy the moment
You probably heard a lot of tips on how it is preferable to squeeze your eyes or to shape a letter “E” on your lips to get that Hollywood or supermodel smile. Those are all useful tips which can sometimes help, but what will make your smile even better is when it’s honest. Be yourself, laugh sincerely and be cheerful on photographs because that is very visible. Wedding photographs are here because of you and your memories, and a wedding day is full of emotions. So you have all conditions for perfect photographs.

Ibiza Wedding Photographer & Cinematographer, Spain
Ibiza has become one of our favourite wedding destinations. With around 50 beaches and more than 100 miles of coastline, Ibiza is not only the centre of nightlife in Europe but it became one of the favourite wedding destinations too. Jamie & Leekim’s photo shooting at Cala d’Hort proves that.
Cala d’Hort is a small beach with a beautiful view of the mysterious Island of Es Vedra which is third most magnetic spot on the planet (yes really!). With a lot of mysterious stories and legends about Es Vedra, we think Jamie & Leekim definitely got best of both worlds with this location!
Jamie & Leekim, after 10 years, decided to celebrate their love at Can Caterina, a contemporary and secluded villa. Set in a private estate on top of the hill just outside of Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera on Ibiza, the breathtaking views are a perfect setting for Ibiza wedding!

MihociStudios in Year 2017
The year 2017 has surpassed all the previous ones. It started fabulously cruising to the Caribbean during one of the most amazing weddings we were at and then spending winter in sunny Florida. Afterwards, there were many more travels and wonderful weddings taking places at some of the most interesting destinations in the world. We traveled to United States, Middle East, visited Australia for the first time… Dubrovnik was like our second home and we visited all the corners of our beautiful Croatia. We visited again, dear to our hearts – Spain and Ibiza, Cyprus, Germany, England, Switzerland. We were several times in Italy, travelling from north to the south and enjoyed it endlessly. We were at a new and exotic destinations like Lebanon and Morocco, and we have finished our working year in snowy and idyllic Austrian Alps.
We have travelled the world for weddings again. We enjoyed each one and were motivated to make the best photos and videos possible.
Some members of our team haven’t even visited their homes during most of the year, and this July, Mihocis got a new little member who will first learn to walk & talk, and then take photos and movies. He was present at most of the weddings, and Ena photographed and traveled up to 38th week of pregnancy. David finished working at a wedding in Istria, Croatia and arrived home just on time to take Ena to a hospital to give birth. After many years, Stephan visited his birth place Australia and places where he had spent his childhood.
There was so many new things happened durring the year and the year went by fast… Many thanks to all our clients, all the great wedding planners we worked with, all the magazines and editors who have published our work, and to all the wonderful people who contributed in making this year the best so far.
We look forward to New 2018 and all new interesting weddings, places and lovely people!
